The job of an AR UX/UI designer

While working at Headraft, I learned much about the ins and outs of new-age advertisement.

While mainly focusing on AR, we also created experiences for younger audiences, such as a roblox experience. I've picked out 3 projects, to give you a bit of an overview.

Project 1:

Techniker Krankenkasse

Briefing

When working at an agency, the briefing and understanding of the briefing is essential to bring the customer what they need.
In this case, the briefing was in German, and had mood points. That made it possible to expand on the universe they wanted to create.
During the process, many things changed in the briefing, as we quickly iterated on multiple ideas.

Storyboarding & development

With just a briefing, you need a lot of clarification, so we started out with research.
Questions about colors, how to showcase the speech bubbles and which kinda of gaming equipment would be speaking to most of the customer group where just questions along the way.

That meant that there was a lot of work in regards to how to scan the user, what the users wanted etc. And many storyboards and ideas was created until we were sure that the lens was good and understandable for the user. Shown here are just some examples of the lens

Result - to be shown

Unfortunately, this lens is not public yet, but will be in the future.

Project 2: LVM

Asset preparation & Ideas

I was dropped pretty late into the LVM project. This one wanted to use a glitchy view and have customization on the HUD for the user. Of course this is important to think about when giving the user the power to manipulate, so we set up safespaces and ideas. On the right you can see the assets sent to the developers to ensure the quality of the app. When designing for Snapchat, many borders and margins must be kept to ensure the quality of the product.

Final storyboard

Due to this project also not being released yet, I can only supply the final storyboard for now. I will update this page when possible.
